“What a brilliant concept: you get clear instructions on how to prepare your PDFs. If in doubt you can send your PDF in advance, and a person the other end advises you on whether the resolution will be good enough. You edit your work in page order. You provide them in the format you are familiar with (pages in consecutive order), and the software takes the pages, works everything out, prints it, turns it round in under 48 hours from "SEND" to "DELIVERED", and I got a perfect result RIGHT FIRST TIME. I paid about a third extra to have the books produced fast and delivered on a Saturday. The only disappointment was that their chosen carrier failed to deliver on the Saturday as arranged, and so the books failed to arrive before I set off on a 240 mile round trip to attend a conference on the Monday, where I wanted to make an impact with the books. So the books were, in that sense, "of no use". It was not the fault of Digital Printing at all, whose part of the process was exemplary. Though it was very frustrating having no phone number provided to rescue the situation. I was very let down by Parcel Force, their chosen carrier.”

I am sorry the delivery was delayed however as the couriers do not provide a guaranteed service with factors able to affect transport we do have to state that the dates are estimated only. “They told me last minute that by priority Friday delivery has been delayed to Monday, they issued a refund but I ended up going with a local business who could print same day and were much nicer! Would recommend!”

We kept working right up to the last courier collection so it was only at this point we could comfirm what orders were unable to be despatched which is why the email was sent at the time. I understand this was frustrating, and as it meant the order was now too late to be of use, we did refund the order in full and I am glad you were able to make arrangements. “I ordered one saddle stitched booklet for my 3 year old grandson with images of him as a knight in armour protecting his kingdom. Digital Printing helped me every step of the way. Any question I had ( and there were quite a few ) were answered immediately. I received the booklet and it was amazing. The quality was fantastic. Needless to say my grandson was delighted. I would definitely recommend Digital Printing to others.”

“We use DigitalPrinting because of the quick turnover but of late it is hit and miss with them. Placed an urgen order with them for delivery on Saturday-morning - paid extra for the service. On Friday-evening at 5 minutes to six received an email that they were not be able to deliver on Saturday but that the job would go out on Monday with Tuesday arrival! Couple weeks later placed another order and paid extra to have a fast turn-over with a faster delivery. AGAIN being told that they would not make the delivery date we paid for.... As a customer this is really annoying because when you ask for a quote it states that it would be ready the following day but this is not really the case....”

Hi Peter Thanks for your review. I am sorry you have had issues with delays to your order. We do process 1000 jobs a day and only on occasion we encounter an unforeseen technical issue that impacts production (as is nature when working machines and systems). We do always seek to complete as many as possible which is why it is only when the last collection with the courier has gone do we have confirmation of which orders did not. We do prioritise to ensure they despatch the next day and often upgrade deliveries. We do state that all delivery dates are estimated as the courier also does not offer a guaranteed delivery service. “Sorry but just like my previous order oct 25 the poster tube was damaged resulting in a squashed poster inside which when framed doesn’t look good. In October to be fair I complained and you re sent another. This isn’t your fault. It’s the fault of the courier company. This time I’ve not complained because I just don’t have the time. But thought I should make you aware that it’s not great. I’m a graphic designer who prides myself with high attention to detail within my jobs for print. Every year I design a numbered poster for my children representing their characters at that moment in time. The print execution is key as it’s framed.”
